EILISH TIERNEY BIO
Eilish Tierney's boxing journey began in 2020, when she decided to do something about her weight. It was recommended to Eilish that she should try boxing, her incredible transformation has seen her go from 'very unfit' to boxing in organised fights and now helping others achieve with her coaching sessions and classes.
Eilish lost 5 stone and dropped to 10 stone after staring at a gym in Martlesham, doing online classes during the COVID lockdown before being recommended to try boxing as a way to lose weight.
INSPIRATION
Training every day after work, including CrossFit, running and sparring, she now wants more women in the ring and wants to inspire and help more women fall in love with the sport, as she has, with her own women's boxing classes.
She is a qualified trainer and hopes her boxing classes for women will help women's safety as well.
FOCUS
Eilish is now third in the Prospect Boxing Promotions league, where she represents Suffolk Punch Boxing Club.
Eilish continues to grow in confidence and success, but it's not all about winning, she loves the rush of the ring, where she can focus on her opponent and share a nice drink after the match.
